From 95 South (Providence)

Follow 95 South to exit 9 (Rte 4 South, North Kingstown).
Follow Rte 4 for 7-8 miles. Rte 4 takes a hard bend to the right and becomes Rte 1 South.
Take the exit for Rte 1 North (sign says “138 East, Jamestown, Newport”).
Once you take the exit, stay to the right and follow the signs for Rte 1 North.
(You will be traveling in a clockwise loop. Follow signs for Shady Lea Historic District.)
Once on Rte 1 North, travel 1/4 mile and take first right onto Shady Lea Rd. (at “Wickford” sign)
Follow to the old brick mill. Biomes is the gray building behind the mill.

From 95 North (CT, Westerly)

Take 95 North to Rte 138 East (URI, Kingston).
Follow Rte 138 for about 12 miles.
About 3 miles after the URI campus, go left at lights onto Rte 1 North (Mobile station on right).
Follow Rte 1 for about 2 miles and take a right onto Shady Lea Rd (at “Wickford” sign).
Take Shady Lea Rd to the old brick mill. Biomes is the gray building behind the mill.

From the Newport Bridge
(Newport, Fall River)

Follow Rte 138 West through Portsmouth and Middletown to the Newport Bridge (toll bridge).
Follow Rte 138 through Jamestown and go over the Jamestown Bridge.
Stay on Rte 138 for 2 miles to the end.
Take Rte 1 North exit (Providence).
Follow Rte 1 for about 1/4 mile and take a right onto Shady Lea Rd (at “Wickford” sign).
Follow to the old brick mill. Biomes is the gray building behind the mill.

From Route 1 North
(Wakefield, Narragansett)

Follow Rte 1 North.
After 138 East exit take a right onto Shady Lea Rd (at “Wickford” sign).
Follow Shady Lea Rd to the old brick mill. Biomes is the gray building behind the mill.
