 Day care and early learning centers have two ways of incorporating our programs into your curriculum: Field Trips to Us A visit to the Biomes center includes a private tour of our animals, with a focus on our hands-on exhibits. Pufferfish, boa constrictor and other live animal demonstrations are included. When you come in for a field trip the center is closed to the public. It's just you and our staff. Visits are an hour long. If your group includes school age children, there is a more in-depth hour and a half option. Small groups that don't reach the minimum charge may choose to visit us during our public walk-in hours. One-hour visit: $6.50 per child, $150 minimum.
Have Biomes visit your center with our sea creatures. These 30-minute presentations include horseshoe crabs, sea stars, pufferfish and other large animals. Students may touch many of the animals during the lesson. We can do up to five presentations per day. $75 per session, $200 minimum.
