
![]() Grade levels: 2 - 8 Although this presentation can stand on its own, it is usually used as a follow-up to Inclass #1, this program uses live animal interactions to demonstrate the many different ways that animals can protect themselves. Protective behaviors such as camouflage, schooling and habitat selection is discussed in depth. We will also cover protective tools these animals use such as claws, shells and exoskeletons. Sample animals include oyster, oyster drill, sea urchin, brittle starfish, periwinkle, butterflyfish, and flounder. 45-minute lessons are $95/session
