Come see over one hundred different species of locally collected marine animals and rescued reptiles in over 80 exhibits. Our exhibits are close-up and intimate displays, with lots of hands-on interactions and petting tanks. Touch tanks include sharks, stingrays, Darwin the tortoise, horseshoe crabs, tide pool animals and more. Students also learn about a variety of topics such as adaptations, feeding behaviors, habitats and more.

All school visits to us are private and are held in the morning before we open to the public.

Available times are 10am-11:30am or 10:30am-12pm, with an option to add a half hour for snack or lunch.

Maximum limit of 75 students per field trip.

Lunch
Your group is welcome to eat lunch or have a snack in our indoor picnic area after your field trip. We do not sell food or drinks on the premises.

Gift Shop
Our gift shop carries a small variety of inexpensive items which are relevant to our center and the animals we have on exhibit.

You may request the gift shop be closed during your school visit.

Private Field Trip
Pre-K - Grade 12 and mixed grades.
$10 per student.
Teachers & staff free. 1 parent/chaperone free for every 5 students.
$300 minimum.

Your students will work in teams as they take turns visiting our learning stations including our hands-on exhibits. Set up in a "scavenger hunt" format, students will find the answers to grade appropriate questions about the animals in each station, followed by a live animal demonstration at the end.

Walk-In Field Trip
For groups of 15 to 30 people.

Walk-in field trips are an alternative for schools with small groups to visit our aquarium (there is no minimum charge). These trips are held during our public hours (12-5pm) and are designed for small school groups (up to 30 people). Self-guided, we still provide scavenger hunt clipboards to help your students explore the center.  

$10 per person (students, teachers and chaperones).  Please call or email to schedule. (Note: you must have at least 15 people in your group to qualify for this admission discount.)
